500 g · Chicken breast · cut into pieces
300 g · Brussels sprouts · halved
200 g · Orzo pasta
600 ml · Chicken broth
2 tablespoons · Olive oil
2 cloves · Garlic cloves · minced
1 teaspoon · Salt
1/2 teaspoon · Black pepper
50 g · Parmesan cheese · grated
Heat olive oil in a large skillet or pot over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces and cook until they begin to brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
Add minced garlic to the pan and sauté briefly until fragrant, about 1 minute, taking care not to burn the garlic.
Add halved Brussels sprouts to the skillet and cook, stirring occasionally, until they begin to soften and lightly brown, about 5 minutes.
Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Stir in the orzo pasta, salt, and black pepper. Reduce heat to low, cover, and cook until the orzo is tender and liquid is mostly absorbed, about 15 minutes.
Remove the skillet from heat. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and well combined. Adjust seasoning to taste and serve warm.
